The popularity of energy drinks today is something we cannot deny. It is used by athletes to keep them going during rigorous training, students too keep them awake while studying, and for employees who need to be wide awake while working at night. Energy drinks come in different flavors, brands, packaging, and sizes. Although they differ in those things, all of these offer the same promise and that is to give extra energy, provide mental stimulation, stamina, and power to the body when it needs it the most.

Energy drinks use different ingredients to keep its promise of keeping the body going. Most of them have ginseng, ginseng, amino acids, and have some added vitamins and minerals. But one common ingredient that all of these energy drink have is caffeine. Caffeine can be found in other drinks like coffee and sodas. Caffeine is known to give the body increased sense of energy, keeps one alert, and enhance awareness.

There has been an ongoing debate whether energy drinks give the body benefits or just pure harm. Just like any other commercially produced drinks, energy drinks have its good and bad sides. The Importance of Retaining Hydration During Workouts

Water is life! Those words may be used oftentimes but it is true. It is considered to be one of the most important components needed for human survival.  Water plays a big role in the body’s functions from the smallest cell to the largest organ. Some of the important functions of water include:
